The governing body for athletics in 2013 decided to introduce a license system for all athletics events organised by clubs in the Norges Friidrettsforbund (Norwegian Athletics Federation). (Read more here). For non-track events, participants can choose between a single license and a full year license. A single license can be bought together with entrance to the Stavanger Marathon events (40 NOK). Full year license can be bought on the website of Norges Friidrettsforbund.
