Organizer

GTI Friidrettsklubb is the organizing club behind Rogaland’s two biggest running events, the Stavanger Marathon and the 3-Sjøersløpet. The club has an inclusive training environment, and is suitable for all levels. If you want to try out our joint training sessions, we meet at Stavanger Stadium every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Volunteer work

Sports teams have a great opportunity to earn money for their team by doing a job on race day. All our drink stations and most of our trail guards are hired. Many teams are regulars, but we always need new forces. We have as many as 10 drink stations and 100 trail guards to be manned.

Our charity

Varmestuens Venner is an organization that since 1973 has helped some of the weakest people in society. In their premises in central Stavanger, everyone, regardless of their condition, can stop by for a chat, some warmth, clean clothes, a shower and a good meal of hot food. If you want to support them, you can do so when you register for the race.
